The role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift/Picker Operator to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement and dispatch of masonry products, playing a key part in the daily operations of our yard.
As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with others to ensure smooth operations and uphold the highest safety standards. Your experience and reliability are essential, but we also value your willingness to learn and grow within our business.

This full-time permanent role will require flexibility to work varying start times to cover the current yard operational hours of 4.00am to 6.00pm. The possibility of overtime also exists.
Responsibilities
* Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
* Follow correct work procedures at all times
* Operate forklifts for the movement of goods to/from the work area
* Quality assurance and packaging of outgoing goods
* Maintain yard and inventory in a neat and orderly fashion
* Follow established procedures for documenting and reporting work performed, hazards, incidents
* Perform basic maintenance of forklifts, plant, and equipment in the work area
* Complete basic documentation related to order dispatch
* Make up orders using manual handling techniques
* Undertake general housekeeping, cleaning, and labouring duties
What You Will Need To Succeed
* Previous experience in a similar pick/packing/forklift role
* Forklift Licence and experience with safe truck loading/unloading
* Self-motivation and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Effective communication skills
* Commitment to safety, health, and environment standards
