Project Manager – Specialist Greenfield Subdivision Contractor
Northern Suburbs Office location, site across north and western suburbs
Salary: $150k - $200k + super + vehicle
The Opportunity
Randstad is partnering with a reputable land development contractor seeking to appoint a Project Manager ahead of a busy 2026.
A strong workbook secured by long-standing partnerships with Victoria's most prominent land developers, this company views quality delivery and safety as its core pillars of operation and seeking like-minded individuals to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the execution of multi-stage greenfield projects broken down into earthworks (cut to fill), utilities (NBN, Electrical, Water, Sewer), roads and asphalt packages.
* Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, passing on your knowledge and experience to the next generation.
* Instil a culture of safety during toolbox meetings, keep all accountable for safe working methods.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining already strong working relationships built over decades.
* Problem-solve and mitigate risks to keep projects on track.
What We\'re Looking For
* 5+ years as Project Manager on civil projects, ideally with experience in greenfield land development projects.
* Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, earthworks, and utilities scope of works.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
* Good tenure in previous positions (Highly valued).
* Well presented individual, good communicator and approachable in nature
* Strong commercial acumen and project financial management.
* Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
