Occupational Health Specialist

The role involves providing expert services in workplace health, injury management and safety. We deliver high-quality services across personal injury and occupational health. Our team focuses on recovery and function to get clients back to work and life.

* Apply clinical reasoning skills to support people with physical and/or psychological injuries at work.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing.
* Perform various assessments including Vocational Assessments, Transferrable Skills Assessment, Job preparation services, Worksite Assessments and initial needs assessments.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including injured employees and employers, medical specialists and allied health professionals.
* Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans through case management.

We have a diverse client base exposed to various industries. You will be working with transport, agriculture, government, construction, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and professional services industries as well as Department of Veterans Affairs.

To be successful:

* Hold current unrestricted registration or eligibility for membership with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ASORC/RCAA).
* Hold tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (Fully registered or Provisional Psychologists with external supervision).
* Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning.
* Show ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support common goals.
* Have passion to help people rehabilitate.
* Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation will be highly desirable.
