Job Role:
A Medical Officer for Primary Care is sought to provide general medical services within correctional environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice OR Australasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
* Proof of specialist recognition by the Specialists Recognition Advisory Committee Award.
* Experience in General Practice with knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Working Conditions:
This position requires collaboration with the Nursing Unit Manager, Service Director and Clinical Director to enhance existing services.
