We are seeking an experienced and motivated tax accountant to join our growing team.
We are offering either a part-time or full-time opportunity for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements can be negotiated.
Key responsibilities and duties:
* Preparing income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies
* Preparing financial statements for business entities
* Prepare BAS and IAS
* Assist clients with BAS, GST, and payroll compliance
* Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
* Support senior accountants and partners
* Audit support
The successful candidate should have:
* Relevant university degree qualifications
* Minimum 2 years in a public accounting firm
* Sound knowledge of the Australian income tax legislation
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast passed environment and meet deadlines
