Leading Hand Carpenter / Supervisor
to join our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on leader with strong carpentry skills and proven site supervision experience. You'll oversee daily site operations, guide crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise carpentry and site teams
Coordinate trades, materials, and equipment
Read and interpret plans and specifications
Ensure work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards
Assist with carpentry tasks as required
Communicate effectively with site managers, clients, and subcontractors
Requirements
Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
Experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman, or Supervisor in construction
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of building codes and OH&S practices
Ability to manage time, people, and resources efficiently
White Card (mandatory)
Driver's licence and reliable transport
