Our client
We are exclusively partnered with a growing $150mill group in a strong resilient sector that is thriving. They are forecasting growth to $250mill in the next financial year. We are recruiting for a Assistant Accountant to join their team and be at the forefront of change for this business.
This role will be 50% AP and 50% month end
The role
Reporting into the CFO, this role is responsible for (and not limited to)
* Daily reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintenance of the fixed asset register
* Assisting with the month end close
* Profit & loss analysis
* GST Journals and BAS
* Help out with ongoing projects surrounding process improvement and implementations
* Owning the Accounts Payable process
About you
* Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
* At least 12 months of experience across an Assistant Accountant or Accounts Clerk role - with background in Accounts Payable and helping with month end close
* Happy to work on site 5 days per week
