Project Support Officer
We are seeking an organised and motivated Project Support Officer to play a key role in supporting projects that strengthen and deliver value to the community. This is a temporary assignment for approximately 9 months, 5 days per week with an immediate start.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide coordination and administrative support across a range of projects. You'll work closely with project leads, contractors, consultants, and team members to ensure efficient processes, accurate documentation, and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide timely project support to help deliver a variety of initiatives.
* Manage document control processes including version control, registration, distribution, and reporting.
* Maintain accurate records within electronic document management systems (EDMS).
* Assist with reporting, review cycles, and internal approvals.
* Support project teams with general administration and coordination tasks.
* Ensure KPIs and deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of service.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
* Certificate IV in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in project support within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related industries.
* Strong document control skills using systems such as ACONEX, Content Manager or SharePoint.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
