Redpath Partners are exclusively partnering with a agile investment and development fund to recruit an experienced Development Project Director or Senior Development Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across its growing portfolio in Perth. This is a rare opportunity to shape the development function, manage multiple projects, and build a high-performing team in a fund-driven, growth-oriented environment.
You will take ownership of the full project lifecycle across a variety of developments from feasibility, planning and approvals, and design coordination, through to construction and handover. While one of the initial flagship projects includes a premium co-living residential offering, you will also be involved in diverse opportunities spanning residential, mixed‑use, and commercial assets. Direct leadership of multi‑disciplinary teams is key, with the ability to mentor, grow capability, and influence delivery standards across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead feasibility, site acquisition input, financial modelling, and investment committee preparation across multiple projects
- Manage planning/authority submissions, design coordination, and consultant/contractor engagement
- Oversee construction delivery: budgets, programs, cost control, quality, risk management, and handover
- Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing project teams aligned with strategic growth
- Ensure alignment with fund and investor return targets, asset strategy, and value‑creation goals

About You:
- 10+ years’ experience in residential or mixed‑use development delivery, ideally including innovative living models (co‑living/BTR)

- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and building capability
- Technical and commercial expertise: financial modelling, budget management, approvals strategy, and contract administration
- Comfortable working in a fund‑aligned, growth‑oriented environment
