Position: Receptionist for NeuroRehab
We are seeking two Receptionists for our Deer Park and Werribee teams to handle front-of-house reception and administrative duties. Experience in allied health or disability services, and familiarity with NDIS, is advantageous but not essential if you are enthusiastic, organized, and eager to learn.
The roles are full-time - 38 hours/week.
Deer Park-based: Four days from our Deer Park clinic (occasional shifts at Melton & Werribee), 8:45 am to 6 pm, plus one 3-hour shift.
Werribee-based: Four days from our Werribee clinic (occasional shifts at Deer Park & Melton), 8:45 am to 6 pm, plus one 3-hour shift.
The pay rate follows the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 - Support Services Level 5 at $28.09/hr (~$55,506 pa).
Our reception team is considered the HEART of NRAHN—Highly Efficient, Approachable, Respectful, Team
Clients are mainly NDIS participants, with some TAC and aged care clients. We value receptionists who combine traditional reception skills with excellent communication, inclusiveness, and positive vibes—considered part of our therapy team
Skills and Experience:
* Experience in documentation and administration tasks.
* Ability to greet clients warmly and create a positive atmosphere.
* Manage phone inquiries, bookings, and follow-ups with funding agreements.
* Coordinate therapist and Allied Health Assistant bookings.
* Respond to emails from the therapy team.
* Assist therapists occasionally.
* Handle invoicing and payments.
* Follow opening and closing procedures.
* Perform basic housekeeping and COVID-19 cleaning compliance.
* Preferably vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 doses).
Successful candidates must undertake a Police Check, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check. Disclosure of any pre-existing injury or illness is required.
Additional Skills & Experience:
* At least 1 year experience in a similar reception role.
* Valid driver's license.
* Experience in allied health, medical reception, or administration is advantageous.
* Understanding of the NDIS system is highly desirable.
* Clear, patient, and friendly communication style.
* Experience working with people with disabilities.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills.
* Computer literacy.
* Ability to multitask effectively.
