Maurice Blackburn, experience you can count on.About the role:Exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our Abuse Team in Perth. This is a permanent full-time position.Maurice Blackburn has a long history of practising in abuse law, and of advocating on the part of survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This is a unique opportunity to establish credentials and expertise in a developing area of law.Due to the nature of the practice, there will at times be exposure to challenging material, consequently all staff in the practice are supported through access to external psychological support as well as market leading and award winning internal vicarious trauma training.The successful candidate will be willing to grow and develop their skills in a busy role. You will use your strong client service skills to support our clients and be in frequent contact with them. Your responsibilities will include answering and managing incoming calls, diary management, file management, preparation of correspondence, court documents and briefs of evidence, and providing day-to-day administrative support.If you are passionate about helping people when they are going through a hard time, then this is the role for you.Key selection criteria:In this role you will be constantly challenged and expand your skill set.
