**THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the General Manager, Trade, the Head of Trade Strategy, Performance and Operations, plays a key role, in:
- Leading the development and implementation of Austrade's trade strategy, including by developing and maintaining productive relationships with government and industry stakeholders
- Managing the successful delivery of global trade diversification programs and events, such as the Australia-Southeast Asia Business Exchange
- Successfully implementing a consistent governance approach for trade programs and strategic projects
- Managing the efficient integration of Austrade's export service offering, including advisory services, funded programs such as the Export Market Development Grant, and digital products such as the Go Global Toolkit
- Leading business practice and service quality projects to successfully operationalise key trade initiatives
- Delivering high-quality reporting and analysis on trade activities to inform decision-making
- Providing transparent and frequent communication on complex programs to internal and external stakeholders and providing the Austrade Executive with briefings and presentation support as required.
