About this opportunity
Our Adult Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) services are short-term, residential treatment services with a recovery focus, located in our local communities near Box Hill and Ringwood East.
We provide early intervention for people who are becoming unwell or in the early stages of recovery from an acute psychiatric episode, to strengthen and consolidate gains from the inpatient setting; working with Wellways Australia.
We offer a unique setting for people to start their recovery journey and resume their role in the community by providing coordinated, recovery-oriented treatment and support.
Linwood PARC is based near Box Hill.
Our service encourages links to people's natural supports and their participation in community life.
We provide:
5. active specialist mental health assessment and treatment
6. safe, time-limited accommodation
7. relapse prevention and management
8. recovery-oriented services including psychosocial rehabilitation, problem solving and intensive support
9. opportunity for residents to participate in a structured program that aid recovery
The role:
10. Provides leadership within the PARC
11. Act as a role model & mentor to staff in promoting professional values & ethics in clinical practice
12. Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team
13. Ensures high quality of clinical standards, quality improvement & ongoing development of the Rehabilitation Service in line with the PARC & Mental Health Program
