Digital Canberra is looking for an experienced and strategic Director to join our Financial Reporting and Capital team in our Strategic Finance Branch.
As a director, you will lead the Directorate's financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and ACT Government policies. You will oversee the preparation of annual financial statements, statutory reports and key Treasury submissions, while managing month-end and year-end accounting processes.
To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting compliance, and statutory reporting within the public sector. You will have strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and government financial frameworks, coupled with excellent analytical problem-solving skills to provide strategic advice.

Eligibility/Other requirements: A formal qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field and professional membership are highly desirable.
