About the role We are seeking a dynamic Technical Advisor to join our team supporting the Recovery & Stabilisation project. The role involves providing leadership, operational support, and strategic direction to optimize plant performance, implement capital projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Executive General Manager in leading the Recovery & Stabilisation project, ensuring team alignment, motivation, and focus on delivering outcomes. Ensure effective execution of the project's goals. Align technical activities with key project milestones and sustainability goals, ensuring seamless operations and increased capacity and efficiency. Drive strategic projects to expand production capability, market offerings, and competitiveness. Support planning, execution, and monitoring of capital projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, budgets, and timelines. Monitor project performance to ensure cost-efficiency, safety, and timely delivery. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in a technical leadership or advisory role, preferably in manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry sectors. Strong background in operational optimization, capital project management, and continuous improvement programs. Effective collaboration skills to work with diverse teams on complex technical problems. Experience in driving operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing plant reliability.
