Senior Legal Counsel
Reporting to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, the Senior Legal Counsel partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide legal advice on a diverse range of issues across WesTracs business. The role involves honing commercial acumen and negotiation skills during strategic contract negotiations critical to WesTracs revenue growth.

What You’ll Do
* Oversee negotiation, execution and management of high‑value, strategic customer sales contracts.
* Advise on a broad range of matters including disputes and regulatory compliance.
* Provide practical solutions to a diverse range of business problems.
* Provide thought leadership on legal, risk and compliance matters, including training for stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with legislative requirements by monitoring changes and implementing appropriate programmes and frameworks.
Skills & Experience
* Qualified legal professional specialising in commercial, corporate, commercial litigation, construction or mining law.
* In‑house legal experience desirable but not essential.
* Bachelor of Laws and admitted as an Australian Legal Practitioner with a current practising certificate.
* Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Robust commercial acumen and sound judgement.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication skills in provision of legal advice.
