We're seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support & Communications Lead to provide executive support, coordinate internal communications, and guide our Business Support team.

The Opportunity-
In this pivotal role, you'll be working closely with the Managing Director & the Leadership Team—ensuring the smooth running of executive operations, leading internal communications across Transdev WA and stakeholders. You will also lead, guide and coordinate our capable Business Support team.
This is a Fremantle‐based role with broad scope and visibility across the business.
What You'll Do-
Business & Executive Support
Act as the primary point of contact for the Managing Director, liaising with internal stakeholders.
Support meetings, diary management, document preparation, and reporting for the Management Team.
Prepare, edit, and coordinate presentations, correspondence, reports, and submissions.
Coordinate company conferences, forums, and events.
Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement across business support activities.
Communications Lead
Lead and coordinate internal communications for Transdev WA initiatives and projects.
Ensure clear, consistent messaging on operational updates, policy changes, and strategic initiatives.
Translate complex business information into clear, frontline‐friendly communications.
Continually review and improve communication channels, content, and engagement.
Provide day‐to‐day task coordination and operational guidance to Business Support team members.
Escalate performance, conduct, remuneration, and disciplinary matters to the Managing Director and/or People & Culture.
Build capability through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Undertake other tasks aligned with skills and experience.
About You-
Proven experience in senior executive support, business coordination and/or internal communications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
Strong stakeholders engagement skills and professional presence with executives and frontline teams.
Advanced skills in document preparation, reporting, and presentation development.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience coordinating teams or leading a business support function.
Continuous improvement mindset with sound judgement and discretion.
Tech Savvy, Proficient with Microsoft 365
