Key Position Overview
The Salesforce Architect is a senior technical role that plays a critical part in the organization's technology strategy. This position coordinates system requirements analysis, engages with stakeholders to understand needs, and provides technical leadership to developers.
Responsibilities:
* Lead system requirements analysis for new or enhanced systems
* Engage with stakeholders to comprehend needs and requirements
* Provide technical guidance to developers performing systems analysis, application design, development, unit testing, and implementation
* Coordinate delivery activities for application design, development, test, implement, and support
* Oversee the design and coding of programs of all levels of complexity in alignment with business requirements and solution architecture
* Offer technical assistance around production problems and other maintenance activities
* Monitor and review work undertaken throughout the development phase
* Challenge existing processes and practices to continually drive efficiencies and technology delivery performance
* Coordinate the provision of high-quality technical documentation and manuals
* Maintain knowledge up-to-date with developments in the digital technology space
Requirements:
* At least 8-10 years of professional experience as a technical lead for Salesforce CRM platform development
* 3+ years of project experience with packaged software or custom development implementations of customer projects
* Strong understanding and experience of Sales and Service Cloud, Integration patterns, Event-based development for Salesforce CRM, Einstein Analytics, and Integration with Other Salesforce applications
* Hands-on design and development of custom solutions on the Force.com platform, including Apex, VisualForce, Lightning components, and data migration
Desirable Skills:
* One or more current Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator)
* Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
* Excellent communication skills
