Hussey Corp is a locally owned and operated business based in Weipa & Cairns, QLD who deliver a wide range of services expanding from Heavy Industrial Electrical, Civil Construction, Construction Project Management, Civil Concrete Construction and Plant & Equipment Hire.
We are currently recruiting experienced FIFO Industrial Electricians to join our team.
Experience and Responsibilities:
* Experience in the mining industry or similar industry is preferable
* Understanding and experience of remote operation working procedures (essential)
* Carry out electrical maintenance and breakdown repairs
* Install, test, and commission electrical systems
* Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and site procedures
* Complete job cards, reports, and maintenance records
* Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
Candidate Requirements:
* NT and/or QLD Electrical Licence
* Manual Drivers' Licence
* EWP High Risk Work Licence (WP)
* Construction Induction (white card)
* CPR/LVR Certificate (valid for 1 year)
* G1 Apply Risk Management Certificate
* Working at Heights Certificate (valid for 3 years)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing
* Good communication skills
* Be able to execute tasks as directed by supervisor
* Be able to identify issues with tasks and report to supervisor as required to prevent delays.

* Confined Spaces (valid for 3 years)
* Forklift High Risk Work Licence (LF)
