Marketing advisor (melbourne)

The Marketing Advisor supports the delivery of the Building and Plumbing Commission's (BPC) marketing, communications and events program. Working as part of the Communications, Media and Marketing team, the role contributes to the planning, coordination and implementation of marketing activities and stakeholder events that align with BPC's strategic priorities. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, requiring strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external suppliers.
What we are looking for

* Demonstrated experience supporting marketing and/or events activities within a busy team workplace and experience in coordinating event logistics, stakeholder communications and supplier management.
* Working knowledge of marketing systems, tools or platforms (e.g. email marketing, event registration, CRM or content management systems).
* Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, events or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
