Genus has been awarded the contract for the design, supply and installation of the 33kV overhead powerline to facilitate Brockman Syncline 1 Expansion for Rio Tinto.
The Role
* Collaborate with engineers, specialists, contractors, and labourers, and coordinate their schedules
* Attend coordination and progress meetings; make regular trips to sites during construction including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and construction closeout
* Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process
* Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors.
* Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.
Essential Skills / Qualifications/Experience:
* Trade and or Engineering Certificate preferably in the Electrical industry.
* S26 Qualified
* Rio Tinto Inducted highly desirable
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience in managing high performance teams.
* Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Construction Induction Card
* High level customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.
