Solidworks Design Engineering Internship Opportunity
Are you a mechanical engineering student or graduate with a keen interest in mechanical design engineering? This internship provides a great chance to work on real-world projects using Solidworks and develop essential skills for a successful career.
About the Role
This 12-week internship involves hands-on engineering design work incorporating automation and robotics, supporting the production and delivery of machinery and ancillary equipment. You will work closely with senior engineers and production managers, performing design reviews and risk assessments, and providing on-site workshop assistance. Additionally, you will liaise with clients and present final designs for review.
Responsibilities
* Designing machinery and allied industrial equipment using Solidworks
* Technical support and helping draft and edit P&ID using software such as Lucidchart and EdrawMax
* Performing simulations and coordinating QA and testing activities
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need strong skills in Solidworks design engineering. You should have knowledge of DFM and Lean principles, as well as experience in P&ID drafting and mechatronics and industrial design for FMCGs and New Product Integration.
