About The Student Placement Program
At Grand Pacific Health, we have a team of over 400 people skilled and dedicated to providing a broad range of health care, including mental health care, to communities and vulnerable people across NSW and in the ACT. Careers include Mental Health Clinicians (Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Counsellors), General Practitioners, Peer Workers, Nurses, Aboriginal Health Care Workers, Support Coordinators and Administration. With such a diverse skill mix, GPH is well-positioned to provide strong student placements. There are also limited opportunities for students interested in regional or rural placements.

Education
We will accept your application if your higher education provider has a student placement agreement with GPH. While applications are always open, it is competitive as we can only take a limited number of student placements within each program. You will need to stipulate in your application which program at which site you would like to undertake placement:

Selected students will be asked to provide evidence of Criminal Record Check and Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (ACT) or Working with Children Check (WWCC) Number (NSW) - for Voluntary or paid work.
