The Network Administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting the organisation’s network infrastructure and systems. The role includes monitoring network performance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing system security and user access, and ensuring the reliable operation of servers, workstations, and network services. The position provides ongoing technical support and contributes to the improvement and optimisation of IT systems across the organisation.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position (38 hours per week) offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and technical environment, where your expertise will directly support business continuity, system performance, and organisational growth.

Task & responsibilities
* Install and maintain hardware and software systems
* Diagnose, document, and resolve system and network faults
* Manage user accounts, passwords, security access, and inventory documentation
* Ensure efficient performance of servers, printers, and personal computers
* Provide help desk support and user training as required
* Analyse, develop, and evaluate system design and network architecture specifications
* Research, analyse, monitor, and optimise network infrastructure performance
* Assess and recommend improvements to network operations, hardware, software, and operating systems
* Troubleshoot network problems and respond to system emergencies
* Install, configure, test, maintain, and administer networks, servers, databases, and workstations
* Maintain documentation for network inventory, faults, enhancements, and maintenance procedures
* Monitor network traffic, capacity, and usage to ensure security and optimal performance
Qualification & experience
* Bachelor degree or higher qualification in a relevant field
* At least one year minimum experience of IT support/technician experience
* The right to work in Australia
* Strong English communication skills
* Proven technical problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong time management and organisational skills
