Health, Safety and Environment Advisor
We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our national health and safety consulting team based in Perth, you will work under the mentorship of our industry-renowned team leaders and closely with our clients in Oceania to strategically diagnose health, safety and wellbeing challenges, design and implement the right solutions based on better practice and a risk-based approach.
This is a hybrid position based in Perth that can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. We welcome candidates who are willing to discuss potential options.
As our Health, Safety and Environment Advisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning and delivery of projects involving physical and psychosocial risk management, strategy, governance, audit and analytical frameworks, culture change and leadership to help clients succeed and navigate complex operating and regulatory environments.
* You will work in a leading national team of multidisciplinary health, safety and wellbeing professionals assisting organisations across a range of industries to transform their approach to health, safety and wellbeing.
* Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment underpinned by coaching and development, while applying technical expertise of health, safety and wellbeing to direct project teams on delivery of our health and safety services.
To be considered for this role, you must have two to three years of experience in health and safety management systems, auditing, risk management, process safety, property risk, dangerous goods or equivalent operational experience, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
A curious mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow and upskill, along with a genuine interest in health, safety and wellbeing, supported by problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in health and safety, engineering, environmental or health sciences, exemplar global auditor qualifications and certificate IV in training and assessment are highly regarded but not necessary.
