MindChamps International PreSchool & Early Learning (“MindChamps”) is the only preschool and early learning centre globally to nurture children with the Champion Mindset, as researched by the renowned neuroscientist Professor Emeritus Allan Snyder, Fellow of the Royal Society.
Founded in Sydney in 1998, with the goal of filling the gaps that exist in global education, MindChamps began as a research institute using research from the areas of Education, Psychology and Neuroscience to better understand how the learning brain grows and develops, and expertise from the world of Theatre to understand how to better engage the young learner and ‘lead the imagination’.
MindChamps PreSchool is also the only early learning organisation in the world to offer programmes based on the revolutionary 3-Mind model of education: The Champion Mind instils perseverance and confidence; The Learning Mind promotes academic excellence; and the Creative Mind frees the imagination and inspires concept creation, enabling our children to face a rapidly changing world with 100% Respect and Zero Fear. This 3-Mind model was introduced in the 2007 book The 3-Mind Revolution, co-authored by David and Brian Caswell, MindChamps’ Dean of Research and Programme Development.
MindChamps' unique, research-based ‘S.M.I.L.E.S.’ philosophy (Sensory, Motor, Intellectual, Emotional and Social) is a holistic approach to education that encourages children to think outside of the box, supporting their overall development in the best way possible. Our research-backed and internationally validated curriculum and pedagogy have been developed by global leaders in 4 Domains of Education, Psychology, Science and Theatre, and align with the Australia Early Years Learning Framework.
With 86 centres operating globally in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Myanmar, MindChamps has been hailed by New York Times and Wall Street Journal No. 1 bestselling author Dr Joseph A. Michelli as a “global education movement of the 21st century”.
