About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled plumbers to join our team at SPK Plumbing & Civil Pty Ltd in Unanderra, NSW. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our plumbing services for our valued customers across the region.
What you'll be doing
* Constructing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures including but not limited to new factory builds, new high rise builds and Sydney Water works.
* Performing new installation of sewer and water mains
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues to provide prompt and effective solutions for our clients
* Liaising with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of service delivery
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
* Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced members of the plumbing team
What we're looking for
* Formal plumbing qualifications, including a Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent
* Sydney water constructor with valid certificates
* Confined space certificate
* Extensive experience (5+ years) as a plumber, with a strong understanding of Sydney Water regulations and requirements
* Ability to read designed plans
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and innovatively
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
* A commitment to safety and a proven track record of working in accordance with WHS guidelines
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
