Service Technician – responsible for installing, calibrating, servicing and repairing weighing and automation equipment

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Service team. This role is responsible for the installation, testing (calibration), servicing and repair of Diverseco and customer equipment. Work will be performed both in Diverseco branch workshops and at customer sites. All activities must be carried out in accordance with Diverseco's WHS requirements, Quality Management System, and relevant legislative and regulatory standards, including National Measurement Law.

Key Duties

* Install, test, calibrate, service and repair Diverseco and customer equipment in line with manufacturer instructions, Australian standards and industry best practice
* Ensure compliance with National Measurement Law, including the use of certified test masses and accurate completion of test and calibration reports within timeframes
* Provide effective fault-finding and troubleshooting to ensure work is completed efficiently
* Deliver a high standard of customer service, maintaining professional presentation and complying with customer WHS policies and site requirements
* Liaise closely with the Service Supervisor to maximise site productivity, communicate delays and improve customer satisfaction
* Maintain accurate timekeeping and records, including submission of FSM time entries
* Assist with workshop-based assembly, testing, packaging and general workshop operations
* Attend and complete all required on‐site and off‐site training
* Maintain company vehicles, tools and work areas to a high standard, ensuring safety is always the top priority

About You

* Previous experience as an electrical, mechanical, service and/or installation technician
* Mechanical, Electrical, Electrotechnology or Instrumentation trade certificate
* National Measurement Institute licences
* Industrial weighing or Trade Measurement experience
* Current full Australian driver's licence (manual)
* Flexible to work additional hours when required and travel interstate/intrastate as needed
