 
        
        About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist to support the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy and rehabilitation services across both our aged care facilities and private clinic. This dual role offers the opportunity to work with older adults in residential care as well as clients of all ages in a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities
Aged Care Setting
 * Assist physiotherapists with delivery of individual and group exercise programs.
 * Support residents with mobility, strength, balance, and falls-prevention activities and programs.
 * Conduct thorough initial and ongoing functional and mobility assessments, including post-fall, post-hospitalisation, or acute illness episodes.
 * Develop, implement, and review individualised care / therapy plans.
 * Recommend, prescribe, and monitor assistive devices, mobility aids, pressure care equipment, and manual handling supports.
 * Provide manual handling training and guidance to clinical and support staff.
 * Participate in care plan reviews, documentation, and quality compliance in line with Aged Care Quality Standards.
 * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, occupational therapy, and other allied health professionals.
Clinic Setting
 * Providing high-quality physiotherapy assessments and treatments to our diverse client base.
 * Developing personalised rehabilitation programs to help clients achieve their goals.
 * Collaborating with other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
 * Maintaining detailed client records and preparing reports as required.
 * Contributing to the continuous improvement of our physiotherapy services.
Skills & Attributes
 * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse age groups.
 * Mandarin language proficiency (highly regarded) to better support our Mandarin-speaking clients in aged care and clinic.
 * Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to supporting older adults and their families.
 * Strong organisational skills; reliable and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
 * Clinical knowledge and skills to assist in developing and delivering tailored therapy programs.
 * Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively alongside other healthcare professionals.
 * Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements
 * Up to date AHPRA registrations and PI insurances
 * Current Blue Card, Yellow Card, CPR and First Aid certificates (these can be coordinated after application)
 * Previous experience in aged care, community, or clinic settings highly regarded.
 * Current First Aid & CPR certification.
 * Valid driver's licence and access to your own car (if travel between facilities & clinic required).
 * National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
