Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance residing in Australia only respond NV2 preferred The position will undertake the Facilities Operations Manager functions, performing the following activities: Lead the Facilities tasks within the WSO for Maritime, Land and Air; Report on and provide advice to the Senior Leadership Team on Facilities; Report on the identification, assessment and control of risks; Conduct and attend weekly internal and external meetings; and Provide oversight and guidance on the Facilities budget; and Manage the short, medium and long term facilities requirements for the WSO workforce and WSO datacenter facilities. Experience managing and maintaining large enterprise datacentres. Experience configuring and administering datacentre electronic and physical security systems. Experience in managing and authoring datacentre documentation suites (access control, SOPs etc) Experience in installing and configuring enterprise monitoring and DCIM tools. Experience designing and managing passive cabling infrastructure within a data-hall and between geographically separated sites. Experience designing and documenting data-hall rack layouts including active and passive infrastructure. Experience in supervising maintenance, installation and updates of datacentre systems both physical and software. Knowledge and experience about remote management processes. Experience with vendor management and engagement. Knowledge of and experience within secure Defence environments. Physical access to the site required so open to ACT residents only. Good project management skills. Liaison skills for overseeing and coordination of the external facilities teams; Attention to detail with the ability to create high quality documentation and procedures; Practical knowledge and understanding of the Facilities processes and capability; Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.
