We are seeking casual staff to join our team in delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
About the Role:
* Provide outstanding customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
* Assist with event setup, including arranging furniture, setting up audio-visual equipment, and decorating spaces.
* Support catering operations by serving food and beverages, managing food stations, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Handle event logistics, such as greeting and directing guests, managing registration or check-in processes, and addressing any issues that arise during events.
* Work closely with event coordinators and other team members to ensure all aspects of the event are executed according to plan.
* Maintain a high standard of presentation and professionalism, representing UniSC in a positive and courteous manner.
* Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures and emergency protocols.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in front-line customer service, hospitality, or event support roles is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
* Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, with the capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
* Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
* A proactive and positive attitude, with a focus on providing a high quality guest experience.
* Basic understanding of health and safety standards, particularly in a food service environment.
