Overview

Senior Technology Talent Partner - The University of Melbourne

Location: Parkville | Role type: Full-time; Continuing | Faculty: Enterprise Technology | Department/School: Business Services

Base pay range: A$122,736.00/yr - A$132,847.00/yr. This range is provided by University of Melbourne. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Salary: UOM 8 $122,736 - $132,847 p.a. 17% Super (Salary Negotiable)

Lead Workday Finance/Payroll integration and shape university-wide systems. This role focuses on Workday integrations and transforming business processes at a world-class university, in partnership with the Technical Team Lead and stakeholders across HCM and Finance.

Responsibilities

- Solution Design: Identify and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday with external applications across HCM and Finance areas.
- Integration Development: Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base, including Studio, EIB, and third-party coding.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, solution architects, and vendors to understand and implement business requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in Workday release reviews and testing, identifying impacts on existing integrations and proposing enhancements.

Qualifications

- Certified Workday Integration professional with strong technical skills in Finance & Payroll (PECI) integration development.
- Current certifications in Workday Integration; Core, CCTPP, and Studio certifications highly regarded.
- Experience in Finance & Payroll Integration (PECI).
- Expertise in building and maintaining Workday integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs.
- Strong technical skills in XSLT, XML, Java; experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST).
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging integration technologies.

Team and Environment

Your new team is the Enterprise Technology department, which provides IT enablement for campus buildings, smart campus projects, IT infrastructure upgrades, and integration, identity management, and security solutions. The team also drives application and digital projects across core enterprise functions such as finance, HR, procurement, service management, and back-office capabilities.
