Responsibilities
As the Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, coding, testing, documenting, refactoring, and maintaining applications that drive the company's success. You'll contribute to solution design alongside architects, champion best practices, and mentor junior team members.
* Leading and participating in architectural discussions, influencing design and technology choices.
* Translating business requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
* Improving codebase maintainability, observability, and testability.
* Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and ensuring production readiness.
* Taking ownership of deployments and production support when required.
* Collaborating across cross-functional Agile teams, including Product, Security, and Architecture.
* Sharing knowledge and mentoring through code reviews, documentation, and pair programming.
Requirements
* 5+ years professional experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
* Strong SQL skills and exposure to a variety of persistence technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Redis, etc.).
* Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and containerisation (Docker).
* Strong understanding of SDLC, OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus).
* Familiarity with observability tools (e.g. DataDog, Splunk, NewRelic).
* Previous experience in Agile environments, ideally with XP practices (TDD, pair programming).
* Full Australian work rights (sorry, no sponsorship can be provided).
* Ability to work onsite 3 days per week.
