Job Description
Recruitment Innovations is seeking an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Townsville and Brisbane QLD.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain, test, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
* Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
Requirements:
Skills & Abilities
Ideally have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
A Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant
Ability to work in a team environment
