Fitter / Machinist The opportunity: Based in our client’s workshop in the Penrith area, you'll join a small but skilled team responsible for the testing, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of air tools. This is a full-time position within a well-established business. Whilst you'll spend most your time in the workshop, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in customer service (phone and counter sales) and administrative tasks to mix things up a bit. You'll be offered flexible working arrangements that may allow you to choose your days and hours, provided all work requirements are met. A typical day: Fault-finding, repairing and maintaining air tools Using a range of hand tools and workshop equipment safely Keeping the workshop clean, organised and job-ready Assisting the team as needed by answering phones, providing customer service and performing associated administrative tasks Selection criteria: Fitter Machinist/Engineering trade certificate Current driver's licence and own transport Intermediate computer skills Great communication and customer service skills Any exposure to air tools, particularly their repair and maintenance, will be highly regarded The ability to read schematics, an eye for detail and a natural fault-finding ability will also be highly regarded Full working rights in Australia What's in it for you?
