Our client, a respected leader in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a General Manager of Operations to oversee multiple sites and play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of their growth.
This is more than an operational role — it is a senior leadership opportunity to inspire people, align teams, and drive meaningful change across a complex and evolving organisation. We are looking for someone who can set strategy across a workforce of over 500 people, but also a grounded leader who still walks the floor, operationally involved in supply chain and procurement and with strong financial acumen.
As General Manager of Operations, you will be accountable for performance across several facilities, ensuring that production, service delivery, and supply chain operations are seamlessly executed. Working closely with the executive team, you will translate strategy into action, creating clarity of direction and building operational excellence at scale.
Leadership will be at the heart of this role. You will mentor and empower site managers, guide frontline leaders, and create a culture of trust and accountability. By championing values-led leadership, you will ensure teams not only deliver against financial and operational objectives, but also feel connected to the purpose of their work.
This is also a transformation mandate. Our client is entering a period of modernisation and growth, and you will be central to leading that change. From embedding continuous improvement and introducing best practices, to strengthening systems and aligning operations with long-term strategic goals — you will have the opportunity to shape how the organisation evolves.
We are seeking a proven leader with experience managing multi-site operations in complex industrial or manufacturing environments, with strong P&L accountability. Just as importantly, you will bring a leadership style that balances commercial acumen with empathy, authenticity, and a passion for empowering people.
Why Join Our Client?
This is a rare opportunity to join a values-driven organisation where your leadership will have a lasting impact. You will play a visible and influential role at executive level, lead a diverse and dedicated workforce, and help create a culture where people thrive. For the right leader, this is a chance to leave a legacy — building operational excellence while strengthening the human foundations that make long-term success possible.
