About the Role
In this dynamic and rewarding role, reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, your responsibilities will include:
* Responsibility for a team of HV Electricians and Communications Technicians.
* Management of 55 x Komatsu 930E-5 Fleet, Letourneau 1850 Electric Loader, Caterpillar 785-D Watercarts & ancillary fleet including Caterpillar 18M, 24M Graders, Caterpillar D10T2 & D10 Dozers, Komatsu WA1200-6 Loaders plus others.
* Ensure compliance with the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations, including S26 Statutory Supervisor.
* Overseeing compliance with electrical standards, weekly work schedule, operating standards, and procedures.
* Monitoring asset electrical integrity and compliance with statutory maintenance & inspection requirements.
* Safely lead and support the Electrical & Communication team through planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
The role will be offered on a fly-in fly-out basis from Perth, working 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off.

You will have significant experience with the operation and maintenance of heavy mining equipment. Your ability to communicate effectively and develop team members through influencing and relationship management skills is essential. You will be a proactive, credible, and influential leader, building trusted, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Our successful candidate will need to be suitably qualified to manage all aspects of the department’s deliverables and supervisor routines.
Experience, skills, and qualifications required include:
- Large mobile fleet management experience (favourable)
- WA “A grade” Electrical Licence
- Unrestricted driver’s licence
- SAP, planning, and work management experience
- Strong safety leadership and event management experience
- Positive, motivated people leader with a focus on culture and diversity
