About the Client We are partnering with a highly respected food manufacturing company located near Fairfield East. Due to ongoing growth and investment in plant upgrades, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. About the Role As the Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing and executing electrical engineering projects across the facility. Your strong knowledge of PLC systems and automation will be vital to supporting production efficiencies, improving processes, and ensuring high levels of reliability and safety within the plant. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical and automation projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring timelines and budgets are met Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, modification, and optimisation of PLC and SCADA systems Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and external contractors Identify opportunities for plant automation and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with Australian electrical safety standards and industry regulations Maintain accurate documentation including drawings, schematics, and technical reports Key Requirements Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing, ideally food or FMCG Strong hands-on experience with PLCs – preferably Allen Bradley, Siemens or Omron Proven track record in delivering electrical or automation projects end-to-end Working knowledge of industrial networks and instrumentation Excellent fault-finding skills and ability to perform under pressure Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Full working rights in Australia Benefits Attractive salary package of $150,000 Super Join a stable and growing food manufacturing company with a strong pipeline of projects Work in a well-resourced facility with a supportive team culture Opportunity for long-term career growth and development
