About the role
Calvary Adelaide Hospital Day Surgery Unit is looking for a full time Theatre technician. Our Day Surgery provides complex care through many specialties including surgical procedures (Urology, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Ophthalmology, ENT and Oral surgery), anaesthetic and recovery.
**Your main duties will include**:
Fun, interesting, dynamic and supportive team environment
**Work across theatres on level 3 and level 4**: elective and emergency surgery
Transportation services; patients, equipment, blood, specimens, records, supplies
Provide patient assistance to clinical and theatre staff
About you
Dedicated and motivated to provide excellent customer service and patient safety
Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
Excellent communication and time management skills
Thrive in a fast paced environment
Have a commitment to delivery of excellence in patient experience
experience working in operating theatres
Certificate III - Operating Theatre Support, or working towards is highly desirable
