HM (NSW) PTY LTD, has multiple franchisees of the world-famous fast-food restaurant, Kentucky Fried Chicken or KFC looking for a Restaurant (Retail) Manager. As a Restaurant (Retail) Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our KFC restaurant and hold ultimate accountability for the restaurant's success. You will ensure high performance of the business including sales, customer satisfaction, and staff management. You will drive operational efficiency, implement company policies, and ensure that the restaurant meets all compliance and quality standards. The key responsibilities of the role will include, but will not be limited to :
* Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery, including stock levels, staff performance, food quality and adherence to KFC's quality and safety standards.
* Determine the optimal product mix, specials and discounts based on customer preferences and demands.
* Oversee the store's layout and product displays to maximize sales and enhance customer appeal locally.
* Formulate and implement purchasing policies to ensure stock availability at all the time while minimising waste.
* Develop and implement in-store pricing policies in line with KFC's standards considering local market needs and competitor analysis.
* Plan and execute in-store promotional displays and pricing for weekly and monthly specials based on customer demand.
* Promote and advertise the restaurant's goods and services, driving sales and customer engagement through effective local marketing and upselling techniques.
* Drive sales growth and profitability by managing budgets, inventory, and labour costs.
* Maintain financial records to ensure the store meets profit targets.
* Drive a positive work environment, lead, recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure high performance.
* Enforce compliance with company policies and industry regulations, including food safety, health, and hygiene standards.
* Analyse staff performance metrics and develop strategies to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing complaints, improving service delivery, and fostering customer loyalty.
Requirements
* Minimum Diploma in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (or extensive experience in lieu of qualifications).
* Minimum of 1-2 years of managerial experience within the fast food or hospitality industry.
* Minimum 1 year of experience working at KFC or any other fast-food chain franchise model is preferred.
* Australian work experience in a managerial role in fast food industry is essential.
* Knowledge of staff training, inventory control, and cost control strategies.
