About the Role
Our Retail Office Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the store. This position requires someone who is highly organised, process-driven and committed to accuracy. You will work closely with the Sales Consultants to ensure administration, customer communication and financial processing are completed correctly and within set timeframes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, following procedures, and taking ownership of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Accounts Receivable & Payable, including receipting and reconciling payments
* Raise purchase orders, check supplier/installer invoices, and monitor stock orders
* Complete month-end processing and assist with financial reporting
* Monitor outstanding payments and support debtor follow-ups with Sales Consultants
* Handle incoming calls, email enquiries, and installation confirmations
* Greet showroom customers and provide professional, timely communication
* Maintain organised records, support store presentation, and follow all company procedures
Key Skills & Experience
* Flooring industry administration experience (essential)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
* Well-developed computer skills and ability to adapt to systems
* Professional personal presentation
