Our mission is to advocate for the environment and enable our members to nurture productive, resilient landscapes and communities.

Landcare NSW is the state peak body of community-led conservation and natural resource management. It is the conduit between local Landcare communities and funders and decision-makers, supporting local Landcare communities by providing resources and representation.

The Support Services Coordinator role is funded under the NSW Landcare Enabling Program, a $59 million, four -year NSW Government-funded program administered by Local Land Services.

The Opportunity

The aim of the Support Services Hub is to work with external vendors to provide cost effective, efficient and centralised legal, human resource, finance, administration, information technology, grant development services to support NSW Landcare member groups and Landcare Coordinators. These services will drive best practice and consistency across the state.

Key responsibilities include:
* Manage a Support Services Hub offering centralised best-practice legal, human resource, finance, administration, grant development and external vendor support services for Landcare organisations. Ensure all information, services and templates are regularly updated and maintained.
* Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with preferred suppliers and other key partners.
* Negotiate competitive pricing, discounts, value‐added offers and service improvements to support program delivery and organisational cost efficiency.
* Coordinate procurement needs, ensuring suppliers understand requirements and deliver high‐quality products and services.
* Monitor supplier performance and proactively address issues, opportunities, or emerging needs.
* Maintain clear communication with internal teams to ensure supplier agreements align with operational priorities and budget considerations.
* Monitor, analyse, evaluate and report on the Support Services Hub to demonstrate key performance indicators and outcomes are being met.
* Collect and analyse operational data to identify emerging trends and log problem records to assist with problem resolution.
* Report to the Landcare Enabling Program Manager to align operational and strategic priorities.
About you and what you bring:

You are a strategic thinker with a track record in stakeholder management and service delivery, ideally within the not-for-profit, environmental or membership-based sector. You are comfortable operating autonomously in a lean environment and can balance high-level strategy with practical delivery.

* Excellent attention to detail, with planning, time management and organisational skills.
