Job Title: Senior Enterprise Architect Location: Brisbane Northern Suburbs Job Type: Permanent, full time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to join a dynamic Information Technology team. This pivotal role supports the delivery of business outcomes by working across portfolios to identify capability requirements, align technology solutions with strategic objectives, and drive transformative change. The Senior Enterprise Architect will develop an understanding of strategy, business capabilities, processes, information, and technology requirements across multiple portfolios to enable transformative change and efficiently identify associated impacts and risks. The role supports the delivery of business outcomes by working with stakeholders across the organisation to identify business capability requirements aligned to current and future objectives. You will identify opportunities to address gaps using existing investments wherever possible, while also exploring opportunities to rationalise and consolidate technologies and applications to reduce cost and complexity. Additionally, you will develop roadmaps and utilise enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies to identify and communicate dependencies across initiatives, business areas, and technologies. Key Responsibilities Drive and facilitate discussions with IT business partners, key stakeholders, and senior leaders to identify business capability requirements in relation to current and future objectives. Develop an understanding of current business capability maturity and manage transformations to increase maturity in alignment with strategic goals. Use business process modelling to define strategic functional processes and optimise workflow and integrations. Streamline application and technical portfolios through rationalisation, consolidation, and decommissioning of duplicate services. Collaborate across IT teams to map data interdependencies and conceptualise technical solutions that address business requirements. Configure, manage, and maintain the enterprise architecture platform (LeanIX). Develop, manage, and continuously improve the Enterprise Architecture framework with principles, guidelines, and processes to enable decision-making and digital transformation. Prepare Digital Initiative Briefs (DIB) and undertake impact assessments for initiatives. Contribute to IT governance via enterprise architecture assurance and assessment. Main Requirements Demonstrated extensive experience in an Enterprise Architecture environment. Extensive analytical skills, ideally with knowledge of information systems, research management systems, and enterprise resource planning systems. Demonstrated technical architecture expertise, partnering with Solution Architect to design and deliver Microsoft technologies across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to manage multiple competing tasks. High-level communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset; ability to translate complex technical concepts to a range of stakeholders. Proven experience developing strategic plans and roadmaps for large, complex organisations. Knowledge of mapping business capabilities to align with technology. Understanding of legislation, compliance, and cybersecurity requirements. Familiarity with frameworks and methodologies including ITIL 4.0, COBIT, NIST CSF, Agile, TOGAF, PRINCE2, DevOps, Six Sigma, etc. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-looking team that supports digital transformation and innovation.
