Job Description
A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse educated and authorised to function autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role. As a Nurse Practitioner you will be responsible for providing general nursing care to patients.
You will adhere at all times to the competencies, guidelines and codes of qualified standards as detailed by Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
This role will see the successful candidate managing your own patient base and working collaboratively with our General Practitioners, Allied Health and Practice Nurses. You will provide primary care services which may include:
taking medical history
undertaking clinical examination
undertake tasks such as assisting in emergency medical responses
arranging any necessary investigations
prescription of medications/vaccinations
ordering diagnostic investigations
implementing a management plan
providing appropriate preventive health care
contribute to health assessments and medication management
Conduct regular examinations and follow ups professional attendance.

Qualifications
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Solid clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
