Cummins specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across mining, on‐highway trucks, industrial and power generation applications.
Impact & Responsibilities
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Deliver a first‐class service to our customers
* Complete service, repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products in our workshop
* Support engine rebuilds
* Diagnose and repair various engines predominately across on‐highway, industrial and power generation
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/ incidents to the Workshop Manager
* Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens
* Be part of a community of like‐minded individuals, who value your input & are open to all viewpoints & communication
Qualifications
* Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy Mechanic (to Australian standards)
* Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential
* Diagnostic and problem‐solving capabilities
* Be a team player & be prepared to adhere to Cummins Policies
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues / incidents to shift supervisors

* Rotating Roster: Dayshift 7am–3pm, standard hours
* Afternoon shift 2.30pm–10.30pm, standard hours
