About the Role:
We're currently looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Officer join our team in Hope Valley ASAP in a full-time capacity. This position is Monday to Friday, based out of our head office.
In this role, you'll utilise various recruitment platforms such as FastTrack360, UKG, MPower, LinkedIn as well as MPower / Workday to attract top talent. We're currently in a transition period with our systems therefore, experience with MPower / Workday is highly preferred for this position.
Responsibilities:
* Cooperatively processing end-to-end payroll for 1000+ employees
* Ensuring the weekly and fortnightly payrolls are completed in accordance with all applicable agreements, awards and procedures
* Maintain accurate employee records
* Administer termination and redundancy payments
* Investigate, calculate and process pay adjustments
* Handling legislated month end requirements including multi-state Payroll Tax, Superannuation, PAYG withholding and Child Support
* Completion of various EA required lodgements including Income Protection, Portable Redundancy and Long Service Leave organisations
* Liaising with GM's, Branch Managers and key staff across the country
* Confidentially maintaining employee personal and payroll information

We are after people with the following attributes:
* A minimum of 2-3 years dedicated experience working in payroll
* Knowledge of payroll legislation and Enterprise Agreements
* Intermediate to Advanced computer skills ie. Outlook, Word, Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Professionalism and confidentiality
* Experience with UKG and Payroll Metrics is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
Mandatory Requirements:
* Ability to work Monday to Friday
* National police clearance - within 12 months old or ability to apply
* Pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement
