Concordia Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Music Tutor to provide individual and paired tuition to String students starting in Hours of work are negotiable and flexible (approx. 4-6 hours weekly depending on enrollments) and may include a Junior Campus co-curricular string ensemble group.
Music Tutors enter a contractual arrangement with the College and invoice the parents directly for individual tuition.
To be successful in this role you will have the demonstrated ability to:
* prepare and deliver individual String lessons
* track and monitor student participation and achievement
* establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with students, staff, parents and other community members
* prepare students for Eisteddfods, competitions, exams and performance events as required
You will need to hold a current Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment, or the ability to obtain, and have your own ABN and public liability insurance. Suitable qualifications in music will be highly regarded.
You will be supported in this role by an experienced Arts and Music team who instill in our students the values of learning, compassion, courage, service, excellence, and respect.
