Overview
The Contract Management Practitioner reports to the Assistant Director who may manage multiple WhoG schemes and/or standing offer arrangements. This role is suited to a professional with a strong customer-centric and solutions-focused approach to their practice.
Key Accountabilities
Support the Assistant Directors across portfolios to deliver high quality, accurate, and responsive advice and support relating to WhoG contract management and procurement activities.
Contribute positively to the workplace with a culture of collaboration, problem-solving, and excellent customer service.
Produce and support the delivery of documentation across the procurement and contract management lifecycle and reporting information as required. This may include briefing material, communication artefacts, contract management plans, deeds of variation, and agendas and minutes.
Support the Territory's strategic objectives such as achieving strong value for money outcomes, and supporting procurements which promote social, sustainable, digital, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and local participation.
Other duties as required.
Key Requirements
Familiar with procurement processes and contract management principles and enjoy working in partnership with others.
High degree of emotional intelligence and able to adjust communication style for different audiences, engendering trust with both clients and team members.
Branch skills across a range of general areas, such as strategic and analytical thinking, leadership and staff development, project management, communication, negotiation, written, and presentation skills. Can adapt and lead others in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated, responsive, and show initiative, sound judgement, professionalism, and resilience. Can think on their feet and work effectively under pressure and within deadlines to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with the strategic goals of the category.
Must be able to effectively manage multiple arrangements concurrently.
Procurement and contract management knowledge, strong service delivery and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in building and using relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.
