Senior Test Analyst – AML Experience Required

The Opportunity:
We're currently seeking a Senior Test Analyst with mandatory experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems. This role will play a key part in ensuring quality delivery across regulatory and compliance-driven environments. You will work closely with business, compliance, and technology teams to validate complex workflows, data checks, and rule-based logic.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases aligned with AML workflows.
* Validate compliance rules, data flows, and system alerts related to AML monitoring.
* Raise and manage defects through the defect lifecycle, ensuring traceability and resolution.
* Collaborate with stakeholders including BA, developers, and compliance teams.
* Contribute to test plans, test reporting, and test closure activities.
* Support SIT and UAT phases and ensure full coverage of AML business rules.
Key Requirements:
* Mandatory experience in AML or financial crime systems testing (e.g., transaction monitoring, customer screening, risk scoring).
* 5+ years of experience in software testing within financial services or banking.
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (AUSTRAC or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
* Strong SQL and data validation skills across large datasets.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
* Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
