6-month max term contract - (option to extend) Camberwell
About the Role
The primary purpose of the QA Test Analyst is to define testing scope, identify automation opportunities, develop and execute test cases, and manage defect triage processes working across the Salesforce platform. The incumbent collaborates with business and technology stakeholders in the delivery of quality test outcomes, leading to successful releases with mínimal Production defects.
Key Duties
- Provide input to the high-level Test Strategy and Test Designs for System Integration and User Acceptance testing.
- Review and understand business / system requirements and design.
- Assess and identify regression test impacts and new progression test needs.
- Define, document or update test scripts, both manual and automated, with traceability back to requirements.
- Enhance testing capability through ongoing identification and implementation of improvements to coverage, testing quality and cycle time.
- Execute test scenarios and test cases.
- Triage, analyse, prioritise, and manage defects through the defect life cycle by liaising with business and IT teams.
- Document and report test results.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of testing status and progress against schedule and test plans.
About You
- Experience testing complex processes and calculations, with attention for detail.
- Proven experience with automated testing tools.
- Adept at risk-based testing approaches.
- Curiosity and learning agility.
- Positive communication/documentation skills, with ability to adapt to different styles depending on technical or non-technical stakeholders.
- Pragmatic and decisive in balancing conflicting priorities and trade-offs.
- Alignment and commitment to Baptcare's Mission, Vision and Values
- ISTQB Certification - Experience in automated test tools, defect tracking tools.
- Experience in Agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Zephyr.
- Automated testing experience using AccelQ.
- Knowledge of Aged Care, Disability or Community Services sectors.
